It's Nov~!

Nov 1st, kick start my new month with a very early morning wake follow by a tiring 10k run at City Hall this morning for the Great Eastern Women Run event. Phew~~ considered i have been SO slack in running exercises and training for this whole year, I'm gladful to achieve my target of timing, ~1:09 to be exact, but of course paid with very high price--I guess i'm gonna stagger like ah po for the coming week :(

Compare with the annual mega event Standard Chartered Marathon, GE Women Run is held in a much smaller scale and the number of 'turn up' participants are less than 10k to my estimation.. Maybe because of this, the result posted damn fast in the web, upon checking the actual runners for 10k is merely about 5500, not including 5k runner, and i'm at position #1378 (good toto number?) As usual the top 5 are mostly Kenyas with average run time of just half an hour ++... What a genetic difference!

Moving forward in Nov, there're still lists of targets to be realised inside a small piece of sticky in front of my desk (learn from便利贴女孩 ^^), but paiseh to reveal a lot are personal stuff e.g. my Msc exam rather than to achieve how many tool recipes migration, tool utilization bla bla...

Overall I felt much 'alive' from Sept into Oct, maybe mainly due to improved condition of previous irritating skin problem, plus the care of people around me. Since it's Nov already and left 2 mths to kiss goodbye 2009, let's pray for a better world tomorrow (less 天灾人祸-- less natural disasters, less human errors) and more peace + love~ :)
